Do we not live life with an undefined anticipation of what’s next. Constantly creating the next thing or event to fill our emptiness. Seeking a reward for effort or a satisfaction in our works. The anticipation we live with can be lived thru the flesh or thru Christ. We don’t want to forget, the flesh leads to death and the spirit leads to life. Tough choice, but do we believe it? Presented with the spirit standing right before us, waiting for our attention. Wanting for us to embrace His eternity, to fill that void so completely it is overflowing and yet continues to fill. We choose the instant reward, the here and now, with no thought of the many tomorrows yet to come. Once we accept the promises of Christ, we begin to live with patient anticipation of the offered, and the yet to come.
Just a thought
